A Product Report is a detailed document that provides comprehensive information and analysis of your products. It helps you understand various aspects of your product’s performance. This guide provides instructions on how to set up a Product Report and tells you more about the information contained in the Product Report.

Set up a Product Report

You can set up a Product Report in two ways: on the Products page or on the Notifications page. 

Notifications Page

  1. Click your profile icon at the upper right side of your screen.

  2. Click Notifications > New Notification > Product Report.

Products Page

  1. Select the products you want to include in your report.

  2. Click Set Notifications.

Steps to complete setup

  1. Choose a name for your report.

  2. Select the products you want to include in your report.

  3. Set the frequency and time to receive your report.

  4. Choose the product condition you want to include in the report.

  5. Optional: Order report by price or buybox.

  6. Tick the checkbox to automatically add new products to the report.

  7. In the recipients section, add your name and email to receive the product report. You can also add your teammates' names and emails so they can receive the report as well.

  8. Click Save.

Once your report is set up, you will receive an email with the report at the date and time you have specified. After setting up the report, you can find it on the Notifications page.

Download Product Report

Email download:

  • At the end of your email from Brand Guarde Reports, click the download icon for the Product Report. 

Download previous reports in the Brand Guarde dashboard:

  1. Click your profile icon at the upper right side of your screen.

  2. Click Notifications > New Notification > Product Report.

  3. Select a report log.

  4. To download, click the date of the log.

Parts of a Product Report

The product report contains three tabs: Highlights, Product Overview, and Offerings.

Highlights 

The Highlights section of the Product Report provides a summary of key changes and important metrics for your products.

Product Overview

The Product Overview section provides detailed information about each product, allowing for comparison over different periods.

Definition

Linked Products Enumerator

A unique identifier used to link or reference products across different reports and marketplaces. If two or more products are linked, they will have the same number (e.g., “1”).

Product ID

The unique identifier for the product, such as an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) or Google Shopping ID.

Product Name

The title or name of the product.

Marketplace

The platform where the product is sold (e.g., Amazon, Google Shopping).

Seller Activity

Indicates the activity status of the seller, such as new, removed, returned, or active.

Linked Sellers Enumerator

Enumerates linked sellers. Sellers that are linked will have the same number, indicating they are connected in the system.

Seller ID

The unique identifier for the seller.

Seller Name

The name of the seller.

Seller Group

Categorizes the seller as authorized or unauthorized.

Condition

The condition of the product being sold (e.g., new, used).

Fulfillment

Indicates the fulfillment method used by the seller (e.g., Fulfilled by Amazon, Merchant Fulfilled).

Seller Offering Buybox

The percentage of time the seller held the buybox for the product during the reporting period.

Seller Offering Buybox Previous Period

The percentage of time the seller held the buybox for the product in the previous reporting period.

Seller Offering Buybox Change from Previous Period

The change in the percentage of buybox wins by the seller from the previous reporting period to the current period.

MAP Price

The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) set for your product.

Latest Price

The most recent price found for the product during the reporting period.

Lowest Price

The lowest price found for the product during the reporting period.

Average Price

The average price of the product across all sellers during the reporting period.

Lowest Price vs MAP Price Difference

The difference between the lowest price and the MAP price.

Average Price vs MAP Price Difference

The difference between the average price and the MAP price.

Lowest Price vs MAP Price Percentage Difference

The percentage difference between the lowest price and the MAP price.

Lowest Price from Previous Period

The lowest price recorded in the previous reporting period.

Average Price from Previous Period

The average price recorded in the previous reporting period.

Lowest Price Change from Previous Period

The change in the lowest price from the previous reporting period to the current period.

Average Price Change from Previous Period

The change in the average price from the previous reporting period to the current period.

MAP Price Violator

Indicates whether a seller has violated the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP).

First Price Change At

The date and time when the first price change occurred for the product during the reporting period.

Price Change Instances

The number of times the price of the product changed during the reporting period.

Average Shipping Price

The average shipping price for the product during the reporting period.

Product Price Report Link

A link to the detailed price report for the product.

Offerings

The Offerings section provides granular data on each offering of a product by different sellers. This includes detailed metrics for each seller and their activity related to the product.
