Seller Report
Seller Report is a detailed document that provides information and analysis about the sellers associated with your products. The Seller Report helps you understand various aspects of seller performance within your brand. This guide provides instructions on how you can set up a Seller Report and tells you more about the information contained in the Seller Report.
Set up a Seller Report
You can set up a Seller Report in two ways: on the Sellers page or on the Notifications page.
Notifications Page
Click your profile icon at the upper right side of your screen.
Click Notifications > New Notification > Seller Report.
Sellers Page
Select the sellers you want to include in your report.
Click Set Notifications.
Steps to complete setup
Choose a name for your report.
Select the sellers you want to include in your report.
Set the frequency and time to receive your report.
Choose the product condition you want to include in the report.
Optional: Order report by price or buybox.
Tick the checkbox to automatically add new sellers to the report.
In the recipients section, add your name and email to receive the seller report. You can also add your teammates' names and emails so they can receive the report as well.
Click Save.
Once your report is set up, you will receive an email with the report at the date and time you have specified. After setting up the report, you can find it on the Notifications page.
Download Seller Report
Email download:
At the end of your email from Brand Guarde Reports, click the download icon for the Seller Report.
Download previous reports in the Brand Guarde dashboard:
Click your profile icon at the upper right side of your screen.
Click Notifications > New Notification > Seller Report.
Select a report log.
To download, click the date of the log.
Parts of a Seller Report
The seller report contains three tabs: Highlights, Seller Overview, and Offerings.
Highlights
The Highlights section of the Seller Report provides a summary of key changes and important metrics for your sellers.
Seller Overview
The Seller Overview section provides detailed information about each seller active on the account, allowing for comparison over different periods of time.
Seller Overview Metrics
Column name | Definition |
Linked Sellers Enumerator | A unique identifier used to link or reference sellers across different reports and marketplaces. |
Seller ID | A unique identifier assigned to each seller within the system, used to distinguish and track seller activities. |
Seller Name | The name of the seller or seller account. |
Marketplace | The specific online platform or marketplace where the seller is active and where their products are being sold. |
Brand Price Violations | Instances where a seller's prices do not comply with the minimum advertised price (MAP) set by the brand. This metric tracks the number of such violations. |
Price Change Instances | The number of times a seller changes the price of their products within the specified time frame. |
Brand Price Violations from Previous Period | The number of brand price violations recorded in the previous reporting period, used for comparison with the current period. |
Brand Price Violations Change from Previous Period | The difference in the number of brand price violations between the current reporting period and the previous one. |
Brand Buybox Percentage | The percentage of time a seller holds the buybox for a brand's product listings in the current reporting period. |
Brand Buybox Percentage from Previous Period | The percentage of time a seller held the buybox for a brand's product listings in the previous reporting period. |
Brand Buybox Percentage Change from Previous Period | The change in the percentage of time a seller holds the buybox between the current and previous reporting periods. |
New Offerings | New products that a seller has added to their listings within the specified time frame of the report. |
Removed Offerings | Products that a seller has removed from their listings within the specified time frame of the report. |
Return Offerings | Products that a seller has reintroduced to their listings after previously removing them within the specified time frame. |
Unique Products | The total number of distinct products that a seller is offering within the specified time frame. |
Seller Activity (Across Brand) | The status of the seller's activity across all products of a brand, indicating whether the seller is new, active, inactive, or has removed or returned products. |
New Notes | Notes added by users to the seller's profile during the specified time frame, providing additional context or updates about the seller's activities. |
New/Updated Contacts | Information about any new or updated contact entries for the seller during the specified time frame. |
Latest Note Date | The date when the most recent note was added to the seller's profile. |
Latest Note Description | A brief description of the most recent note added to the seller's profile, summarizing its content. |
Latest Note Label | Labels or tags associated with the most recent note, categorizing or providing context for the note's content. |
Offerings
The Offerings section provides granular data on each offering of a product by different sellers. This includes detailed metrics for each seller and their activity related to the product.

Seller Name | The name of the seller or seller account being reported on. |
Marketplace | The specific online platform or marketplace where the seller is active and where their products are being sold. |
Offering Activity | The specific actions or changes related to a seller's product offerings, such as new listings, removals, and returns, within the specified time frame. |
Seller Group | A category or classification that groups sellers based on certain criteria, such as Authorized, Unauthorized, and On Hold. |
Linked Products Enumerator | A unique identifier used to link or reference products across different reports and marketplaces. |
Product ID | A unique identifier assigned to each product within the system, used to distinguish and track product activities. |
Product Name | The name of the product. |
Condition | The condition of the product being sold, such as new, used, or other specified conditions. |
Fulfillment | The method by which the product is delivered to the customer, such as fulfilled by the merchant or by Amazon. |
Product Offering Buybox Percentage | The percentage of time a seller holds the buybox for a specific product listing in the current reporting period. |
Product Offering Buybox Percentage from Previous Period | The percentage of time a seller held the buybox for a specific product listing in the previous reporting period. |
Product Offering Buybox Percentage Change from Previous Period | The change in the percentage of time a seller holds the buybox for a specific product listing between the current and previous reporting periods. |
MAP Price | The minimum advertised price set by the brand that sellers are expected to adhere to. |
Latest Price | The most recent price at which the product was listed within the specified time frame. |
Lowest Price | The lowest price at which the product was listed within the specified time frame. |
Average Price | The average price at which the product was listed, calculated over the specified time frame. |
Lowest Price vs MAP Price Difference | The difference between the lowest price and the MAP price for the product. |
Average Price vs MAP Price Difference | The difference between the average price and the MAP price for the product. |
Lowest Price vs MAP Price Percentage Difference | The percentage difference between the lowest price and the MAP price for the product. |
Average Price vs MAP Price Percentage Difference | The percentage difference between the average price and the MAP price for the product. |
Lowest Price from Previous Period | The lowest price at which the product was listed in the previous reporting period. |
Average Price from Previous Period | The average price at which the product was listed in the previous reporting period. |
Lowest Price Change from Previous Period | The change in the lowest price of the product between the current and previous reporting periods. |
Average Price Change from Previous Period | The change in the average price of the product between the current and previous reporting periods. |
MAP Price Violation | Instances where a seller's price for the product does not comply with the minimum advertised price (MAP) set by the brand. |
First Price Change At | The date and time when the first price change occurred within the specified time frame. |
Price Change Instances | The number of times the price of the product was changed within the specified time frame. |
